About me and my observatory

My name is Dave Gradwell and I am an amateur astronomer living in Ireland. My main interest is the Sun and I have a solar observatory near Birr.
From here I image the Sun in various wavelengths, capture solar flares as they hit our ionosphere and measure the Sun's influence on the Earth's magnetic field.
Images below show, the aerial used in solar flare monitoring, some of my solar telescopes and a picture of a sunspot taken by one of them. I hope you enjoy my blogs and please feel free to leave a comment.
